Built from
experience,
not just textbooks.
Katie doesn't just teach movement. She has lived it. From a 13-hour spinal fusion, to three separate experiences relearning how to walk, to founding Krasinski Performance in 2024. Her coaching is shaped by everything she has overcome.
Born and raised in a small town in Pennsylvania, Katie Krasinski's journey of learning to care for her body began at an early age. By the time she was in sixth grade, the development of scoliosis had placed her in two different back braces and even led to her participation in a medical research study.
In 8th grade, she underwent a 13-hour spinal fusion. Without professional guidance, Katie was forced to figure out how to move and adapt on her own. That experience ultimately sparked her pursuit of Exercise Science.
Years later, in 2022, Katie tore her left hip labrum, requiring major hip arthroscopy and labral repair surgery in January 2023. Just months later, in September 2023, she faced the same procedure on her right hip. Then in 2024, a third surgery added to her journey. Across these experiences, she endured the challenge of relearning how to walk three separate times.
Today, Katie draws on both her academic training and lived experience to educate and train others in health, wellness, and body care. Her philosophy is shaped not only by textbooks and hands-on practice, but by the trials, setbacks, and lessons she has overcome in her own life.

We all have different obstacles we will face in life. What is most important is how we choose to work with them, not against them.
